Trend Finish: Aged Brass
Some finishes, like fashion trends, come and go, but aged brass seems to be sticking around. With its captivating shine and hint of luxury, it’s been designers’ go to choice for everything from drawer handles to statement chandeliers.
In even better news, designers these days are eschewing the one-finish rule. Have a house done in all chrome? Don’t sweat it. Have fun and mix your metals. For starters, select a fun piece, like a fixture that’s calling your name, and complement it with a tiny hint or two, like a pillar tray or a decorative mirror. The world is your mixed metal oyster. Get creative.

Is aged brass similar to brushed gold? I have brushed gold pulls on my kitchen cabinetry and am looking for a new kitchen light fixture. I also have brushed gold accents on our bedroom (Curtain rods, side table) and am looking for a light fixture to coordinate. Will aged bronze work?
Thanks for your question -- Generally, Aged Brass is darker than brushed gold, but it can work together nicely! If you are looking for a closer match, our products in Satin Brass finish would be slightly closer to a "brushed gold."
