- Can this turn on automatically at dusk when mounted outside?
- Is the post mount included with the light?No, the post and/or the pier mount adapter are not included with the Asher light. You can purchase our 84" Outdoor Post here, or you can use any standard-sized 3" diameter post. The pier mount adapter is used to mount the light on a flat, solid surface. You do not need any additional adapters to mount this light on a post. Hope that helps!
- What size of pipe does it fit on?Hi, this light fits on a standard sized 3" diameter outdoor post. You can purchase our 84" tall outdoor post here. We also sell a pier mount adapter that works with this light, but is not needed to attach the light to the post.
- Can this light withstand direct contact with rain and wind? Thank youThanks for your question. Since this is a ceiling-mounted fixture, it is intended to be installed under a partially covered area, like a porch or veranda. It is damp-rated, meaning it can be exposed to moisture, but ideally not exposed to direct rainfall. Wind should be no issue when installed properly. These lights are also made of steel and the finish is powder-coated to stand up to the elements. Please note, the wall-mounted Asher lights and post lights ARE wet-rated, and can totally exposed to rain. Hope that helps!
