How do you change out the lights on this post lamp?

To change out the light bulbs, you would need to remove the screws on the bottom of the base that secure the cage. After lifting off the cage (the body of the light) you have access to the light bulbs and sockets. We recommend using LED bulbs, both for energy savings and a longer time in between having to change them out. Are these dusk to Dawn?

No, the Cole Collection is a hard-wired fixture that does not have a timer sensor or built-in timer function.

How are the bulbs changed...from the open bottom? If so, what is the width of the opening?

The bottom of this fixture is open and that is how you access the bulbs. The base of the large size wall light is 10 and the opening is approximately 9 square. We recommend long-lasting LED bulbs for energy saving and more time in between bulb changes.

Does the light have glass on the bottom or is it open?

The bottom of the Cole Wall lights is open, there is glass only on the four side walls. Thanks for your question!

Can this light fixture be used on a slightly sloping porch ceiling?

Yes, the included hanging chain and canopy can be used on a sloped ceiling.

Nice outdoor entry light fixture for the money. My only "negative" was the glass was a bit hard to clean once we got it hung (fingerprints from me holding as my husband was running the wire).
