Modern Fall Entertaining
Cool, crisp air is making an appearance. School buses are back on the streets. Both tell-tale signs that fall is imminent.
It’s not quite the blazing days of summer, but the leaves aren’t falling yet either, so we’ve put together some early fall entertaining ideas for some post Labor Day fun. The guest of honor? Heather Christo’s Autumn Sangria.
Setting the Table
For our table, we embraced a look that’s both clean and modern but also festive and inviting.
Our centerpiece is composed of a strand of fairy lights intertwined with one of the hardiest flowers, blue thistle. (Pro Tip: Dry these and you’ll have floral decor for days on end.)
Arrange the flowers and lights along the length of the table, and for an extra touch, arrange a stem atop the napkins on each plate.
For a charming glow, nestle among the florals sleek taper candlesticks and the occasional pillar. We chose some of our modern favorites: our mid-century inspired Eero Candlesticks and Vena Marble Pillars.
