This quintessential, radial fixture is our homage to the late, great Gino Sarfatti, Italian designer and pioneer of the mid-century modern movement. The Sputnik is the embodiment of Sarfatti’s design principles as they apply to lighting - practical, yet beautiful and always multi-directional. Ours features sixteen slender arms radiating from a central orb in a versatile, pewter finish. For a statement centerpiece, suspend over a dining table or the center of a living room to add dimension, texture, and a little bit of history to your home.

The materials for exceeded my expectations given the affordable pricing. My only critique is that the light fixture mounting uses three screws. A more simple, easier install method would be for the two pieces of the brackets to slide/clip into place. Other than that, the design is fantastic!

We got our new light and pretty easy to install, and looks great! We were really happy after it was installed.
The issue we had with the light was that there is a sticker on every single light post saying 40w max. We understand its a safety sticker, but looks ugly so we had to take it off all 16 posts and didnt come off easy. So took an hour of taking off the stickers and scrubbing the old stickers glue off to have them look shiny and clean.

We also suggest getting a dimmer switch for the light, with that many bulbs it does get bright so nice to control how much light it puts off. -
We stumbled upon lights.com while we were searching for a light for our son's nursery. We found exactly what we wanted. The ordering process was easy, the light arrived quickly, and we loved it!!! Unfortunately, it was a little too big for the space we intended it for. After calling and speaking with customer service, they were extremely helpful and accommodating in assisting us in returning the item and suggesting a better light for our space.
