Yes, since they are weatherproofed so it should be fine.

What makes them ok for outside? Are they waterproof?

The Idlewild candles are made with a weather-resistant resin that won't melt in the sun and can withstand normal weather conditions. They're great outside but you'll have to put them in for extreme weathers and don't put them underwater or somewhere that can turn into a standing puddle.

Are these ok to be out in the winter?

It is weather-resistant but makes sure they are placed somewhere they won't be covered in snow or end up in a puddle. Standing water can damage them.

Can I use the remote from inside the house? like through the front picture window?

If you're within a few feet of the candles they can be programmed from the window. It would be a lot easier to make sure the signal gets to the candle if you were programming it within four feet and without glass between you and the candle.

Can the remote get wet?

The remote is not water-resistant.
