- I would like to know how to program the remote to set the timer function. What are the steps to take and in what order?Please refer to the product manual that should have come in the box for more details, but the basic steps are: 1. Turn on your candles using the button on the base. 2. Once turned on, select either Steady or Flicker for the flame style. 3. Press the timer button on the remote to set the timer. The timer will start and turn off after the time period selected, then automatically turn back on at the same time each day. 4. If you want to cancel the timer, use the remote to turn Off, then back On, or Turn Off then On again at the base button. Please note that the batteries will drain faster when left On with the timer running. To completely turn off, use the base button / switch.
