Do you offer these red lights in different sizes?

The Chelsea Lantern only comes in this 11.5 height, but our Madaket Lantern comes in red in a large and medium size, and we offer a smaller red lantern, the Rory.

Is there an off switch on the lantern so it can remain off overnight if we choose to turn it off?

Yes, there is an On/Off switch on the bottom of this lantern - the On position will activate the automatic dawn-to-dusk sensor, while the Off position will turn off the lantern. Please note that the solar lantern will not charge in the Off position.

When you have a cloudy or rainy day and you can't get a charge how long will the lights stay on in the evening.

Sorry, it completely depends on how much light gets through the clouds so we can't really give you a sure answer. Most of the time these lights will work for a few hours even if it's a cloudy day. If you'd rather use a light that doesn't depend on the weather try our lanterns that run on batteries.

Do these flicker or just light up?

They should just light up if they flicker they might have been exposed to some other light source while charging.

Are these lanterns ok to be placed in full sun without harming/melting the flameless candle?

It is safe to leave outside without harming the candle.

How to change battery?

The battery compartment is located on the bottom of the lanterns. When installing new batteries be sure to insert with the correct polarity as indicated (-/+).

Where can you get the batteries for these?

You can buy 1.2V AA Ni-MH 600mAh batteries in big hardware stores or Amazon

Do the lamps turn off at dawn and on at dusk?

It has an automatic dusk-to-dawn sensor and stays on for many hours after a full day of charging under the sun.

Will these rust over time if left outside and placed on the metal table? What kind of metal are they made out of?

The lanterns are coated with weather-resistant paint and should be fine outdoors. We don't recommend leaving them in places that collect standing water or leaving them in snow. We recommend bringing them inside during extreme weather.

Are the candles secured to the bottom of the lantern or are they loose?

The lantern is secured from the bottom. They cannot be removed.

Can the lanterns be left outside during the winter months?

The lanterns can be left outside but you'll want to make sure they aren't in a snowbank or left in puddles. With less sun they may not get a full charge and will only light up for a shorter amount of time.

Can hanging handles be easily removed and reattached later?

No, the handles are not removable.

How many lumens of light does it put out or does it just glow?

In this case, the light is decorative so we don't measure the lumen output. It gives off a soft glow and can be seen from a fair distance, but we wouldn't recommend trying to read by it.

Are these plastic or iron? How heavy are they? I hope I can leave them outside and not be blown around by the wind. Are they weather resistant? Are the clear windows glass or plastic?

The lanterns are made of metal. They are heavy enough so that they will not be blown away by the wind. The lanterns are suitable for outdoor use and are made of glass.

These lanterns are hanging off of shepherds hooks placed aesthetically apart so they are noticeable from a distance. Its a warm glow, so very inviting. I hope they hold up in the elements. They are very good quality.
