- Can these be used to replace recessed lights?These flush mount fixtures connect to a standard round or octagonal junction box used for ceiling fixtures, so the installation would be different - you cannot just swap them out where recessed lights had been. But for overall lighting, we love the look of the Aria Flush Mount, and adding a few to a room would certainly be an upgrade from can lights!
