About this Product
This set of four flameless candles are a perfect addition to your devotional Christmas decor. Much safer and less messy than old-fashioned candles, these are a beautiful and convenient way to observe Advent. Use the remote control to set the candles on either a four or eight-hour timer and the candles will light each night at the same time and turn themselves off at the end of the night. Each candle can be set separately- making this set perfect for a traditional Sunday ceremony at home or at church. Light one more candle each of the four Sundays before the birth of Christ- a joyful family tradition.

As they said the perfect addition to your devotional Christmas decor . As a religious family, we love to preserve all the old traditions. Bought this set for my Grandmother, she loved them! Especially that it's a safe and mess free candle. No more worrying about it toppling over and burning the table cloth or scrapping the candle wax from the table after it melts.

We can't have flame in our home, due to Mom being on oxygen. The Adent Wreath is a long-standing tradition which she had to forego for several years. Finding these battery operated tapers was a godsend. The ability to have the Advent Wreath again, and use it as a focus for prayer has made her happy. I love the ability to preset a 4 hour or 8 hour period for them to stay lit, as well as the remote control ability.
The one drawback: The bases on some of the candles are unable to be loosened without coming apart. This is important because loosening the base is the way to keep the candles for the later weeks of Advent unlit. [We add 1 candle per week throughout the season of Advent - each week the wreath is brighter, representing that Jesus' birth is coming closer.]

The work-around for this was to leave the batteries out until needed, but I would have preferred not to need the work-around. -

I go these candles for my Mom's house to celebrate the upcoming Advent season. I tested them out and they look really nice in her living room. I also like that she doesn't have to worry about wax getting all over the place. These a great substitution for the wax candles she grew up with and I know she'll be happy to have them for this Christmas season.
