Im usually not a fan of flameless candles. Im traditional and I like the real thing these, however, are an exception. I think what makes them look so real is their waxy finish, and the shape and color of the flame is much like a real one. I especially like the remote which allows me to operate the candles from my chair. I also like the fact that these candles can be made to flicker or to remain constant. Im very happy with my purchase, especially now that the holidays have arrived.

The candles themselves are very pretty, and its hard to find pretty tapers. They do flicker, but the flicker isnt as realistic as other flameless candles I have that actually have a moving part that the light reflects off of. With these candles the flame is molded plastic, and the light inside of it must do the flickering. The remote control with various settings is fabulous. I am happy I purchased them.The best tapers Ive found.
