The Best Tool to Have
In the event of any kind of a disaster, an emergency lamp is the best tool to have. Whether your threat is a blizzard, a hurricane, a tornado or earthquake, one thing is certain. You will probably lose power. Even for an hour this is a major inconvenience. And usually, we lose power for much more than an hour.
Of course they're alternatives. Some people keep candles in their emergency survival kits. But candles are unpredictable. They can get wet, and so can the matches that light them. And candles are a fire hazard. And nobody needs that when facing an already difficult situation.
Some people feel secure with a flashlight. But in the dark hours following a disaster, can you imagine doing what needs to be done by flashlight? Could you change a baby's diaper or administer first aid products with a flashlight in one hand and everything else in the other?
Invest in an Emergency Lamp
Whether at home, camping or in the car, an emergency lamp is a smart choice. Power lines are almost always knocked out when disaster hits. Picking up the pieces after a disaster is always difficult. At least with a lamp, you won't be doing it in the dark.
